I serve as a Policy Adviser to Madeleine Ogilvie MP, Member of the Tasmanian State Legislature.

I am a Student Engagement Leader for the University of Tasmania, serving as a peer mentor organising activities and events that are designed to enable students to engage each other and the wider Tasmanian community in a safe, inclusive and supported environment.

I am the Secretary for Amnesty International UTAS, the University action group that supports Amnesty International Australia in its advocacy and awareness-raising efforts in Australia and abroad.

I serve as a Year-group representative for the Tasmanian University Law Society (TULS), representing the interests of First-year law students. TULS is the student body representing all law students in the University of Tasmania.

I am Student Ambassador for the University of Tasmania, representing the University throughout Tasmania in schools, at University events and more.

I am the Secretary for the Student Environmental Law Society (SELS), a student body that engages in and produce submissions on Environmental Law issues.

I serve as the Vice-President for the UTAS Labor Society, the student component of the Australian Labor Party (Tasmanian Branch).

Before I came to Australia, I was a freelance columnist for the Borneo Post – the largest and most influential English daily newspaper in Borneo. I was also briefly an Executive Intern to the Deputy Prime Minister (and Home Minister) of Malaysia. Lastly, I also represent Malaysia as a programme alumni of the United States of American Department of State as part of the Young South-East Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI).
